NEW YEAR!

What a wonderful promise for the New Year.
Knowing that our God is with us every step
of the way gives us assurance that all will be
well. Perhaps all won't go exactly as we
planned but we can know that He is there to
guide us all the way.  Let us step into this
New Year with confidence, knowing that He
is holding our hand and leading us all of the
way. As we look into the future, we may see
in our mind's eye terrible war and heartache,
but knowing that He never forsakes us in any
circumstance makes the pathway so much easier
to travel.  It is delightful and encouraging to
enter upon the year before us with the
consciousness that infinite wisdom, love
and power have covered the coming months
and days with the assurance of every needed
blessing.

He Walks With Us

The road of life leads through pastures
And beside the waters still.
But more often through long valleys
And laboriously uphill.

But we must take one day at a time.
Each day has its own load.
We cannot add tomorrow's cares,
As we travel down life's road.

God promises in His Holy Word
To give us strength for each day.
We must walk one day at a time.
He will guide us when we pray.

He will draw near and go with us,
He will walk closely by our side.
He will tell us the best road to take,
And through it all be our Guide.
